Pre-Order Policy

The Hobby Pilot

Thank you for pre-ordering with The Hobby Pilot! Please review the following terms before placing a pre-order.

1. How Pre-Orders Work

Pay Deposit: Select the Pre-Order Price option and pay the deposit to reserve your item.
Item Arrives: We will notify you by email when your item arrives and is ready for final payment.
Pay Balance: Complete the remaining payment before arranging pickup or shipping.

2. Pricing and Payments

The Full Price displayed on our product listings represents the deposit plus the remaining balance.

Customers selecting the Pre-Order Price option are charged the deposit at checkout, not the full product price.

The 2nd Payment option represents the outstanding balance and is intended for customers completing an existing pre-order.

3. Remaining Balance Deadline

The remaining balance must be paid within 30 days of our arrival notification.

If payment is not received within this period, the reservation may be cancelled and the item may be released for sale. Any treatment of the deposit will be subject to applicable consumer protection laws and the terms agreed to at checkout.

4. Estimated Arrival Dates

All estimated arrival dates are approximate and may change due to manufacturer production schedules, distribution delays, customs clearance, or transportation issues.

We will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant delays when information becomes available.

5. Cancellation and Refunds

Pre-order deposits are generally intended to secure reserved inventory and may be non-refundable for customer-requested cancellations, where permitted by applicable law and clearly disclosed at purchase.

If an item is cancelled by the manufacturer or cannot be fulfilled, we will contact affected customers regarding available options, including an applicable refund.

Nothing in this policy limits statutory cancellation or refund rights.
